91st Infantry

91st Infantry, First State Color. Composed entirely of men from Philadelphia, the 91st was organized in early December 1861, and received its first state color on December 6. The flag was retired from service in January 1864 when most of the soldiers re-enlisted, went home on furlough, and left the flag in Harrisburg. The regiment mustered out of service on July 10, 1865.

91st Infantry, 2nd State Color. Composed entirely of men from Philadelphia, the 91st was organized in early December 1861. The regiment received a second state color in February 1864 after taking the first one to Harrisburg in January while on furlough. The regiment mustered out of service on July 10, 1865.
