75th Infantry, Second State Color. Composed entirely of Philadelphia men, many of whom were German-speaking, the 75th organized in August 1861. In January 1864, the regiment re-enlisted, and received their second state color in August. The 75th was mustered out of service on September 1, 1865.

In January 1864, the regiment re-enlisted, and in August the color was retired when a replacement was received. The regiment was mustered out of service on September 1, 1865.
