21st Cavalry (182nd Regiment), National Standard. The 21st cavalry was originally recruited for a six-month term of service during the second half of 1863, and in February 1864 was reorganized for three years. Its troopers came from more than ten counties, and was presented with the national standard on March 31, 1864 by some Philadelphia ladies. The regiment was mustered out of service on July 8, 1865.
