131st Infantry, State Color. Composed of men from Union, Northumberland, Mifflin, Snyder, and Lycoming counties, the 131st was a nine-month unit organized in August 1862. The regiment received the state color in mid-October. The 131st was mustered out of service on May 23, 1863.
