130th Infantry, State Color. Composed of men from Cumberland, York, Montgomery, Dauphin, and Chester counties, the 130th was a nine-month unit organized in August 1862. Already veterans of two major battles, the 130th received the state color in mid-October. Colonel Henry I. Zinn was killed at Fredericksburg in December 1862. The regiment was mustered out of service on May 21, 1863.
