119th Infantry, State Color. Recruited primarily in Philadelphia, by Colonel Peter C. Ellmaker, the 119th was organized in August 1862. The state color was not ordered until September 24, 1862 and was not received by the State Agency until May 6, 1863, and was not received by the regiment until the winter of 1863-64. The 119th was mustered out of service on June 19, 1865.
